39th Southern Biomedical Engineering Conference !!

The Neural Interface lab had a fun and engaging trip to New Orleans, LA to participate in the 39th Southern Biomedical Engineering Conference. Four lab members presented at the conference including: Rabia Fatima, Emma-Bernadette Faul, Austin Broussard, and Daniel Rivera.

Dr. Tracy Cui is a William Kepler Whiteford Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh. She is the Director of the Neural Tissue/Electrode Interface and Neural Tissue Engineering

Lab. Dr. Cui collaborates with this Louisiana Tech Neural Interface Lab and was the keynote speaker for the opening session on Neural Interfaces.

Emma-Bernadette A. Faul, a senior undergraduate lab member, was awarded "First Place Winner" for her oral presentation on "Double pattern-transfer photolithographic fabrication of flexible implantable glassy carbon microelectrode arrays for sensing."
